TIMBER. All our buildings are produced to the highest standards using quality timbers from sustainable sources. Timber sizes are the actual sizes after the timber has been planed and machined.

WALLS. Are constructed using softwood planed tongue and grooved shiplap pattern boarding. Actual size 12x120mm

FLOOR: 12x120mm Planes tongue and groove matching pattern boarding.

FRAMEWORK (Walls and floor). Softwood planed 35x35mm

ROOF. Usually constructed using 11mm Oriented Strand board (OSB). On some summerhouses 12x120 mm planed tongue and groove matching pattern boarding will be used.

WINDOWS. Are properly morticed and tenoned. They are opening, profiled and weather resistant. The window has an unique profiled 'lip' that covers the aperture of the opening in the panel making it weather resistant. Casement stays have 2 levels of opening.

'SHED' DOORS. Are ledged and braced and supplied with a padbolt. Hinges may be fitted to the right or left.

'JOINERY' DOORS. Are morticed and tenoned, profiled and weather resistant - they co-ordinate with the windows.

GLAZING. Sheds and summerhouses are supplied with 3mm horticultural glass, little houses with styrene glazing. All galzing is retained by profiled beading which is pre-mitred (no awkward corners to be cut)

DESIGN. Buildings are supplied flat packed for ease of handling and assembly.

PLAYHOUSES. Shed and summerhouses comply with BS5665 EN71

TREATMENT. All buildings are supplied pre-treated on both sides in a honey brown water based industrial product. Some photographs show what may be acheived with the additional application of coloured treatment. We recommed that buildings be treated with a suitable decorative wood finish immediately and within 3 months of assembly. We further recommend that all pieces be treated again at least annualy or as frequently as the instructions of the product used recommend.

GENERAL.

- All buildings are made to metric measurements
- Imperial measurements give an indication of size only
- We reserve the right to modify design and / or specification
- Allowances should be made for a roof overhang
- All buildings should be assembled onto a firm, level base
- All optional extras must be ordered with a building

Wood is a natural product and is therefore prone to changes in appearance, including some warping, movement and splitting, particularly during unusual climatic conditions (long hot or wet spells of weather). As a natural occurence this is not covered by a guarantee)
